About the ARA National Championship
The ARA National Championship, organized by the American Rally Association (ARA), is the premier rally series in North America.
Events are held across forested and mountainous regions throughout the United States, featuring unpaved roads and a wide variety of demanding surfaces, including snow and gravel. With a mix of high-speed sections and technical stages, the championship places strong emphasis on both driver skill and the durability and reliability of the competing vehicles.
About the RC2 Class
The RC2 class in which the team competes is a category based on regulations closely aligned with FIA Rally2 specifications, featuring vehicles derived from production models that combine high-level performance with safety.
These vehicles are equipped with turbocharged engines and four-wheel-drive systems, and feature reinforced suspension, body structures, and safety equipment designed to withstand demanding rally conditions.
Why Compete in ARA?
Through its participation in the ARA National Championship, the team aims to contribute to the development of motorsport culture in North America while accumulating technical knowledge and expertise that support the philosophy of “making ever-better cars” through competition with GR Corolla-based rally vehicles.
Experience gained in these demanding competitive environments is applied to the development and quality improvement of production vehicles, contributing to the continued evolution of GR models.
In addition, through its participation, the team is committed to developing young drivers and future talents.

An American rally-raid driver who began competing in off-road racing at the age of 10. In 2021, he set the record as the youngest stage winner in Dakar Rally history. Through this program, he is expanding his career beyond rally-raid by taking on a new challenge in rally competition.
Topi Luhtinen
Co-Driver

- August 12, 1994
A Finnish co-driver with extensive experience in international rally events, including WRC2. He has also served as a co-driver for drivers in the WRC Challenge Program. In the ARA National Championship, he works as Seth Quintero’s co-driver.
CAR DETAILS
GR Corolla Rally RC2
GR Corolla Rally RC2 is a rally car developed by GR based on the GR Corolla road model for the ARA.
Leveraging TGR-WRT’s experience in the FIA World Rally Championship, the car features a 1.6-litre three-cylinder turbocharged engine, four-wheel-drive system, and enhanced safety equipment to deliver high performance and reliability in demanding rally conditions.
While not FIA Rally2 homologated, the GR Corolla Rally RC2 is eligible for ARA’s RC2 class and competes at a comparable performance level with Rally2 cars.
