Key moments from the Belgian Grand Prix

Lap 1

 Allan gets a good start making up one place to 12th by the end of the opening lap of 44. Mika loses a place coming round La Source to complete his opening lap in 10th place. Michael Schumacher leads from Rubens Barrichello Juan Pablo Montoya Kimi Raikkonen David Coulthard Ralf Schumacher.

Lap 11

Mika and Allan move up to 9th and 11th as Jenson Button retires from 9th place.

Lap 14

Allan loses a place to Jacques Villeneuve's BAR as the 1997 world champion outbrakes him into Les Combes.

Lap 15

Allan makes his first pit stop.

Lap 16

As in Hungary Mika and Pedro de la Rosa head into the pits at the same time. Thanks to a superb stop from the team Mika emerges well ahead of the Jaguar driver.

Lap 22

At half-distance Mika is still in 9th place just 2.5s behind Eddie Irvine's Jaguar. Allan is 12th 16.5s behind Mika but troubled with inconsistent car handling after a wheel sensor problem on the installation lap.

Lap 29

Allan makes his second trouble-free pit stop.

Lap 30

Mika makes his second pit stop. The team again completes the stop in a superb time. It is the second fastest stop of the afternoon so far and only beaten twice more during the race.

Lap 35

After the second round of stops Mika is in 8th place and gaining on 7th-placed man Irvine.

Lap 36

Mika is up to 7th after Kimi Raikkonen suffers an engine failure.

Lap 43

Mika sees a points finish in his sights as he closes in on 6th place.

Lap 44

Michael Schumacher wins his 10th GP of the season. Rubens Barrichello completes a Ferrari 1-2 ahead of Juan Pablo Montoya David Coulthard Ralf Schumacher and Eddie Irvine. Mika misses out on a world championship point by just 0.4s. Allan is 9th a lap down. It is the team's first double top 10 finish since May's Austrian Grand Prix.
