"Having completed our data acquisition programme this morning we then focused on some general set-up work in preparation for the Japanese Grand Prix next weekend. This included aerodynamic comparisons that gave rather satisfying results. It has been a very productive day for me and up to now everything went according to plan. Hopefully we will complete our programme on the same note tomorrow."

"Today did not go as smoothly as yesterday since we encountered a few problems that cost us quite a bit of running time. But this is part of development work. Our programme is based on checking and improving the durability and performance of the 2003 elements that are already on the TF102B and this is exactly what we have been doing today by sorting out the difficulties we experienced. In that respect it has been a very interesting day for us."
Tomorrow will be Panasonic Toyota Racings last day at the Barcelona track as well as the final round of testing for the 2002 season. Testing will recommence at the end of November when the team will focus fully on preparation for the 2003 season.
