"I am extremely happy with what we have achieved today especially after the few difficulties we had yesterday. The team did a great job throughout the session and we managed to go through the entire scheduled programme. We carried out premium and option tyre comparisons for the Japanese Grand Prix and managed to put considerable mileage on the TF102. This will give the team even more time and information for further development in advance of the 2003 season."

"This was another very good day. I managed to do 94 laps and completed a full engine mileage. We continued with aerodynamic comparisons that confirmed yesterday's results. We also did some tyre testing for Japan which turned out to be very successful. All in all this session gave us a lot of valuable information for the Suzuka race next weekend. I am very happy that we ran the whole day and pretty much the whole session without any problems at all on the car."
The Panasonic Toyota Racing team has already packed up and will fly next Sunday to Japan for the 17th and last round of the 2002 FIA F1 World Championship where it will compete for the first time in front of its home crowd at the Suzuka circuit. Testing in preparation for the 2003 season will begin on the track at the end of November.
