TOYOTA MOTOR SPORTS

“Dreams” and “Inspiration” through Motor Sport

Since its foundation, one of the fundamental philosophies of Toyota Motor Corporation has been to contribute to a prosperous society through the automobile. Our mission is to minimize the negative impact of cars in terms of the environment/energy and safety, and to maximize the positive impact—enjoyment—cars can bring to our lives. We call this basic stance "zeronize and maximize."

Motor sport is an important initiative that allows our customers to experience "Dreams" and "Inspiration" through cars. At the Tokyo Auto Salon this spring we announced cars featuring refined performance through GAZOO Racing, as well as the new G Sports conversion car series that gives a wider range of our customers a taste of "automotive seasoning." While continuing to produce cars such as these that enhance automotive enjoyment, we would like to bring together motor sport fans and expand their opportunities for talking about cars and the excitement of driving. This year we plan to host a variety of events that allow an even broader range of people to experience motor sport.

We will also maintain our support for spectator motor sport.
We will keep pursuing victory in top category races, including our third entry into the prestigious US NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, as well as Japan's SUPER GT and Formula NIPPON, and we will continue promoting the Toyota Young Drivers Program (TDP) to nurture world-class drivers.

This year, we will once again focus our best efforts and energies in motor sport; we ask all of the many Toyota fans around the world for their continued support.
