The Best Views are between 2nd Curve and S Curve
The first opportunity for overtaking at the Suzuka Circuit is 1st Curve. The next overtaking point is the entrance to the chicane. 130R features the most drama on the course, but unfortunately there is no position from where this section can be observed up close. If I were going to see the race, I think I would sit between 2nd Curve and S Curve. On the whole, the view from between 1st Curve and S Curve is the best. From here, you can see cars entering 1st Curve during the race, and you also have a good view of the battles going on between 2nd Curve and S Curve. You can also see how different drivers attack the course using different lines when driving alone. I think fans can have a lot of fun sitting in this section.M I also feel that the key to quick lap times at the Suzuka Circuit is the S Curve. This is a difficult section where drivers attack the course and each other. Probably 130R presents the most difficulty in terms of car setup. If the car is set up where the driver can confidently power through 130R, then I think the car will be effective in all of the other curves as well. |
