2005 grand prix
The Grand Prix of Turkey (fourteenth race of the season) was held on August 21, 2005. Jarno and Ralf qualified P5 and P9, respectively. Ralf was caught up in an accident with another car in the first corner of the first lap, running over car parts scattered on the course. The accident forced Ralf temporarily to the back of the pack. Meanwhile, Jarno was able to reliably defend his position. Unfortunately, Jarno was overtaken on the last pit stop, finishing the race in 6th. Ralf worked tenaciously to overtake cars in front, recovering much of his original position, and finishing 12th.
