2005 grand prix
The Grand Prix of China was the nineteenth and closing race of the season, held on October 16, 2005. Both drivers were slightly behind the pace, with Ralf qualifying P9 and Jarno qualifying P12. Evidently we had still not stabilized the handling of the newly modified TF105B. The race was rough affair, with the safety car coming out on two separate occasions. Ralf cleverly played these circumstances to his advantage in bettering his position. Ultimately, Ralf captured his second podium finish of the season (3rd place). Meanwhile, Jarno encountered trouble with his front left tire, finishing 15th in the last race of the season.
