2005 grand prix
The Brazilian Grand Prix was the seventeenth race of the season last year, held on September 25, 2005. While Jarno's qualifying time set him at P8, an engine change moved him to P18 on the grid. Ralf started the race from P10. After the first lap, Ralf had moved up to 9th position, and eventually moved to 8th on lap 57, holding that position and capturing one point. Jarno started the race with a heavy fuel load, but was unable to improve position as originally hoped, ultimately retiring from the race due to pneumatic system troubles.
