Panasonic Toyota Racing kept up its impressive start to the season at today's Spanish Grand Prix as Jarno Trulli and Ralf Schumacher took 3rd and 4th after an epic race. The pair fought hard all day, running nose to tail for much of the race under the Barcelona sun before Jarno took his third podium in four races. press release : Spanish Grand Prix – Sunday Qualifying Round-Up
Panasonic Toyota Racing drivers Ralf Schumacher will line up in 4th and 5th positions on the grid for today’s Spanish Grand Prix after a tough second qualifying session. Both drivers complained of understeer during their laps and while Ralf was able to maintain his position from yesterday, Jarno dropped onto the third row from his provisional pole. Both drivers remain in excellent shape for the race and they are optimistic that they can take more points for the team this afternoon. more..

The whole of the Panasonic Toyota Racing team is overjoyed after Jarno Trulli secured the team's first ever provisional pole position at Barcelona's first qualifying session. Trulli's time of 1m 14.795s was just good enough to put him ahead of a trio of close challengers including team-mate Ralf Schumacher, who ended up under a tenth of a second back in 4th place.
