Preview Practice Qualifying Race Review
Who will conquer the first race at Spa in two years?

The Spa-Francorchamps circuit runs a total of 7,004 kilometers through the beautiful Belgian countryside, and is often cited by many F1 drivers as their favorite course. However, the race itself is always affected by the capricious weather of the Ardennes region, and the teams are always nervous about a wet race weekend. The first corner after the start is hairpin, attracting many accidents. The next corner is the famous Eau Rouge, featuring a steep uphill sprint and a sharp turn to the right and back to the left.

Previous Belgian GP
Held on September 11, the Belgian Grand Prix was the 16th race of the 2005 season. During qualifying, Jarno secured P3, while Ralf captured P5 on the grid. The race started on a wet track. Jarno held his spot at third, but the strategy to change to dry tires after the safety car came out ended up working against him. Losing position, Jarno finished his race by going off the course in the 35th lap. Meanwhile, Ralf rose as high as P2 during the middle stage of the race. However, he slid off the course immediately after changing to dry tires, losing his hard-fought gains. Despite recording the fastest lap of the day, Ralf ultimately finished the race in seventh place.
