Made his Karting debut at the age of 12, and was crowned FCJ (Formula Challenge Japan) champion at the age of 18. Following on from this, he placed 2nd in the Formula 3 series at the age of 20. Then, during 2014, in addition to competing in F3, he also competed in the All Japan Rally Championship, and gained his first victory in the JN class during the 8th round.
Since 2015, having been selected for the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Challenge Program, he has been competing in rallies in Europe including 2016 WRC Neste Rally Finland (WRC2 class).

Made his rally debut at the age of 19, and was soon taking part in the All Japan Rally Championship and the FIA Asia-Pacific Rally Championship ("Rally Hokkaido"). In 2014, he competed in the Japan Rally Championship (JN6 Class), as well as two races in the Austria Rally Championship.
Since 2015, having been selected for the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Challenge Program, he has been competing in rallies in Europe including 2016 WRC Neste Rally Finland (WRC2 class).
