THE 2022 RALLY

The 2022 edition of the Dakar Rally will again take place solely in Saudi Arabia, with crews setting off from the city of Ha’il on January 2. The traditional rest day will take place on January 8 in the city of Riyadh, before the route heads to Jeddah for the finish on January 14.

Various vehicles take part and compete in the rally, with the majority of competitors being divided into five categories:

Car 4-wheeled vehicles that are split into two groups: Super Production converted commercial gasoline, diesel, racing vehicles and prototypes
The Hilux of TGR team belongs to T1+ class in this category.
T1-E (electric) class is also added to the category in 2022 Dakar.
