Fanatec GT World Challenge Asia Powered by AWS is the only dedicated international GT series based in Asia to feature races in multiple countries. The opening round of 2024 season will be held in April at Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia followed by the second round at Chang International Circuit in Thailand in May. In addition, the Japan Cup, which until last year was a ‘championship within a championship’, becomes a championship in its own right. Its first standalone event will take place at Sportsland Sugo in June. Rounds three to five of Fanatec GT World Challenge Asia Powered by AWS and rounds two to four of the Japan Cup are scheduled at Fuji Speedway, Suzuka Circuit, and Okayama International Circuit, while in September, Shanghai International Circuit in China hosts the season finale for the first time since 2019.

At all events this season, a total of seven rounds and 20 races, TGR will provide a GR or Lexus brand vehicle as the official Safety Car, which leads the field at the start of the race and during any period when racing is neutralised, contributing towards the safe and efficient operations of each event.

Globally, TGR will continue to actively support customer motorsports*1 in various ways. The valuable feedback gained from private teams running TOYOTA GAZOO Racing’s products in races all over the world supports TGR to ‘make ever-better motorsports-bred cars’.
