For the victory of global rally customers
「GR Yaris Rally2」

Toyota wants to use knowledge gained from participation in WRC to make motor sports a source of knowhow to fulfill its corporate policy of seeking to “Making Ever-better Cars.” As one part of these efforts, Toyota has continued development of race-specific cars that enable rally customers from around the world to participate in the important Rally2 category.

The car made its public debut at Rally Japan in 2022, when Morizo took the wheel and measured its performance.
Since then, we received a lot of feedback from the many drivers who have tested the Rally2 car on different surfaces and in different conditions.
More than 15,000 kilometres have been covered, including participation in the Japanese Rally Championship which also served as testing on Japanese roads.

So far, the development process has incorporated feedback from top professional drivers, young up-and-coming drivers and experienced customer drivers.
From now on, an even wider range of feedback will be gathered from customer motorsport competitors in championships such as WRC, helping to develop improvements to making ever better car.
